Join us for ONE MORE CONCERT WITH FRED HO to kick off the Revolutionary Eco-Music Big Band tour! Fred is still up and about, but his health has declined so drastically that he has cancelled most public appearances and refused many of your invitations. That is why we were very surprised that he decided to make an appearance with the band, which will continue its tour without him.
Here’s what’s in store:
§ The music of CAL MASSEY (THE BLACK LIBERATION MOVEMENT SUITE)
§ The music of FRED HO (including Fred’s very last big band work, GRACE OF THE GUERILLA, MY LOVE and the Scientific Soul Revolutionary Gardens of Harlem Suite with a special cantastoria presentation by CLARE DOLAN), and
§ The music of MARIE INCONTRERA, plus
§ The world premiere of Truth and Dare, a comic book curriculum for the end & beginning of the world!
There is an incredible lineup of 16 of the best musicians in the world, conducted by Marie Incontrera. The players span many generations and represent amazing creative virtuosity.
Please come fill the hall. Join us in making this a memorable event! As many of you know, Fred is under hospice care, so this will very likely be his last concert appearance. We want to make this a high note in his epic career, so please come and tell everyone you know!
